Hello! My name is Monty! I'm a mixed breed, a Border Collie cross with a dash of mystery in my lineage.

I've been at the sanctuary for quite a while and I'm eager to find a loving family to call my own.

My foster mom has been spending extra time with me, and I’ve become even smarter since I arrived.

I adore learning new things, and she says I'm a well-behaved young gentleman!

I enjoy hanging out with my dog friends at the sanctuary, but nothing beats snuggling with my foster mum or any human who wants to spend quality time with me.

I particularly love the volunteers, especially the young folks, who always take the time to play with me.

I get along well with everyone here, must say I do have a soft spot for the ladies! Human and Furry four legged ones !!!!!

I'm allowed on beach runs with my aunt because I have excellent recall, and my mum trusts me to be off-lead throughout the property. When she calls my name, I always come right back.

I'm around 2 years old and have enjoyed my time here, but I'm ready for a home where I can share my love and be part of a family.

I currently share my space with a resident lamb named Buba, who can be a bit of a bully, so I keep my distance from that big dude !!!

The chickens and ducks don't bother me, so I leave them be, and while the cats like to snuggle up, I'd much prefer to curl up with my human.

Everyone who volunteers here says they love me—what's not to love?

I’m crate trained and eager to learn more, as I'm quite intelligent and ready for a loving home.

Ideally a lifestyle property or some where I can get out and run I love running when I’m not snuggling or helping mumma with the chores!
